Jul 27, 2019He was born December 20, 1948 in Jackson County, KY to the late Harlan and Nannie Anglin McKinney. Charles was of the Holiness faith and enjoyed to four wheeling.Other than his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one nephew, Robbie Sparks.Charles is survived by his two sons; David (Brenda Mullins) McKinney of Berea, KY and Joe (Angie) McKinney of Richmond, KY. Six siblings; Dennis (Ethel) McKinney, Marilyn (Doug) Powell, Carolyn Harrison, Nancy Sparks, Rosie (Bobby) Callahan, and Eugene (Christie) McKinney all of Berea. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Jordan McKinney, Alex McKinney, and Mason Charles McKinney.Graveside services will be 12 Noon Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Sinking Valley Cemetery in Jackson County. Davis & Powell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Darlene Deatherage Darlene Deatherage age 64, passed away July 17, 2019 at St Joseph Hospital in Lexington KY. Darlene was born in Rockcastle County to the late Burgess and Nellie Jones King.She had worked at Mt Vernon Plastics and had been a homemaker for the last 20 years. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Geraldine Thomas and Easter Layoff. Darlene is survived by her husband of 37 years Rodney Deatherage, her children Dianah King and Ricky Jud Kirby, her siblings Carol Russell, Vicky Lavely, Nora King, Ray King, Randall King, and Jim King, and her granddaughter Lexis Kirby. Visitation will be Saturday July 20, 2019 from 10 am – 12 noon at Lakes Funeral Home Berea, burial services will be private. Myron Kim Durbin Myron Kim Durbin, age 55, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at St. Joe East Hospital, after a short illness of aggressive lung cancer. Born at Berea Hospital to Stanley Durbin and Wanda Little, Myron was employed by Near New Auto for over 25 years. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 17, 2019 at 12 PM.
